How are we supposing to communicate with a random stranger in this case? I get some random dude that is 8 levels ahead of me, coming with me on mission 3 for my first time and he just begins running around obliterating everyone with all his gadgets. Or at least i didn't find it if it's there. No chat option / voice chat for online mode. This is just so frustrating to watch and even more to play since i keep thinking i am at a safe distance, only to be reminded that "no, fuck you". The enemy makes a brief pause before attacking you, and then, if there is any sort of distance between you and him, he literally just glides so that his weapon has better chances of connecting. This i fucking hate to see, and is one of the reasons Dark Souls 2 sucks a bag of ****. Sometimes i just press E when near an edge to peak through, and instead my character will not walk towards the edge with his back on the wall, instead he comes out of wall hug mode and into the spotlight, therefore getting exposed. Similar problem appears to peaking through corners and waiting behind fences etc. So when i try jumping to a roof that looks exactly like the one i jumped from, and i start gliding only to fall on the head of an enemy and get spotted (because you can't react if you land on a gliding platform) my run is done for. Personally i get a kick out of successfully completing a mission on my 1st try. God forbid something goes south and you lose your save files cause you can't skip that shit, nor the intro cutscene so you just have to suffer going through it all over again. Why? We just want to be done as quickly as possible, get our upgrades and talk to who we must and move on the next mission. Having the stamina meter active in the hub area. And it doesn't really improve as the game goes on. The logic tree looks like it has 3 - 4 branches at best. I know it's a small indie studio, but the A.I. Also, choosing to do either kill / knock out runs is terribly easy. Only difference being the awards after you complete the mission. ![]() The game does not respond to your playstyle, it's just fixed as is. You can go through any level with either killing enemies or knocking them out and it doesn't make a difference. ![]() At times i just completely run out of stamina when i was dead certain that i had at least half a bar, then i did an attack and suddenly i am out of stamina and already in stagger animation. Third, keeping track of my and the enemy's stamina seems.odd. You click the mouse 2 times in rapid succession by accident, and your character is locked into performing a second attack. I find that when dodging forward, at the same time making half a circle around the enemy, essentially being glued to him and just gliding around him. HOWEVER, there are 3 key things that make this implementation somewhat clunky. I can see a lot of similarities to Sekiro's combat as i have said previously, which isn't a bad thing. They are not many, but they take the center stage plenty of times. However, i want to shed some light on the things i found to be from unpolished to just bad design. Personally i don't mind the graphics and that isn't something that can be considered a "problem" so i am not touching on that either. It is quite enjoyable to play and even more so with friends.
